Pithoragarh. An illustrious “Felicitation Ceremony ” was organized at The Asian Academy Senior Secondary School on Monday. The meritorious students who had scored highest marks in the CBSE Board Examination of class 10th and 12th along with the sports players who had performed brilliantly at the state level were honored.

On this occasion, the chief guest of the program Lt. Col. Shri Atul Mathur (Administrative Officer, Gen. B. C. Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh) graced and felicitated exemplary students of the Asian School. Extending his congratulations to all the achievers, Mr Atul Mathur encouraged students to excel in their respective field with strong resoluteness, self – reliance, and by overcoming fears through uninterrupted practise.

The event was presided over by The Asian Group of School, founder and chairman Shri Shri 1008 Himalayan Peethadheeshwar Swami Virendranand Mahamandaleshwar Juna Akhara.

Attaining 2nd position at the National Institute of Sports, Dipank Verma, former alumnus of The Asian School was presented with a certificate and memento for his remarkable performance in establishing Uttarakhand’s name.

Among the students honored in the program, Miss K. Tannu Kaloni stood first in class 12th board examination. Followed by Mr. Harikesh Pandey and Mr. Dipanshu Kunwar respectively. Ishita Bohra stood first in class 10th, second stood Mr. Ansh Burathoki and third stood Mr. Harshit Bathyal. In addition, Mr. Himanshu Rautela , Mr. Harikesh Pandey, K. Himani Joshi selected in JEE Mains. K. Diksha Pandey, who stood first in the district level art competition and players who performed brilliantly at the national and state level of the school were the ones who were included.

Moreover, under the Public consciousness and Awareness Campaign for Malaria of the state government, Dr. Ashutosh (CMO Office) and Mr. Rajendra Singh (Manager, R.B.S.) included in the team of Chief Medical Office informed on hygiene and shared valuable prevention tips to the students.

School founder Sri Sri 1008 Himalayan Peethadheeshwar Swami Virendranand Mahamandaleshwar Juna Akhara said that it is a matter of pride for the school to have many students selected from the school in wide areas. He said that in today’s time there is a need to recognize the talent of the student. School Principal Yashoda Pathak, teachers and parents were present on this occasion.
